Wealden MP Nus Ghani joined the High Sheriff of East Sussex for a Prayer Breakfast at the East Sussex National Golf Resort in Uckfield last Saturday.
The High Sheriff works with the community and local charities to encourage crime reduction initiatives. As an annual appointment, the 2018-19 East Sussex High Sheriff is Major General J D Moore-Bick.
The prayer breakfast brought together leaders from across East Sussex, with Professor Francis Campbell, the former British Ambassador to the Holy See, giving a guest speech.
Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden, said: “I was delighted to join the High Sheriff for a reflective prayer breakfast at the East Sussex National.
“I’d like to thank the High Sheriff for inviting me to join the breakfast, which was well attended by representatives from many communities across East Sussex.”
