Wealden Citizens Advice are continuing to provide free, confidential, independent and impartial advice on issues affecting people’s lives, especially during this time of national crisis. Contact them on their Adviceline 0300 330 9022.
Crowborough Food Bank would like food or money donations (additional 25% via gift aid) as this will allow the team to replenish the essentials and help vulnerable people at this difficult time. See more details on their website.
Uckfield Foodbank remains open and is making home deliveries to those in need of food in local area. The Foodbank asks that if you need a voucher from your agency then please give them as much notice as possible. If you need delivery on a Tuesday then the voucher needs to be with the Foodbank by noon. The same applies for Friday delivery.

The Hartfield Parish Council and Church have set up a Community Action Group in response to Covid - 19 and have agreed a local set of co-ordinators to help people in need access local groups of volunteers and for those volunteers to spread the load amongst a local group. MAYFACS - Mayfield and Five Ashes Community Services is providing support to people who are self-isolating with shopping, prescriptions and more. Call 01435 873888 or go to https://www.mayfacs.org.uk/ for more information. They are also raising money through their Just Giving page.

The Customer Service Point in Royal Mail Uckfield Delivery Office will be open between 07:00-09:00 am daily, except Wednesday and Sunday when the office will be closed.To support the Government’s advice to stay at home and avoid non-essential journeys, Royal Mail urge customers to only visit Customer Service Points where absolutely necessary.
