Public community meeting re Crowborough Training Camp and Asylum Accommodation

Monday 10th November Crowborough Community Centre, Pine Grove, TN6 1FE

I am convening a public meeting for Crowborough residents to join me to discuss the Home Office's decision to use the Crowborough Army Training Camp to house asylum seekers in the near future, and the powers that Wealden District Council has to object to this decision.

The meeting is for Crowborough residents. Please note that due to limited capacity of the venue, prior registration is compulsory. Your details will be checked upon entry so please bring ID on the day. You will not be admitted to the meeting if you have not registered.

There are two sessions available. Please use the form below to register for one of them.

Either Session 1: 18:00-19:00 [NOW FULL]

Or Session 2: 19:15-20:00

The Wealden District Council leadership (Cllr Rachel Millward and ClIr James Partridge) have been invited, alongside the Crowborough Wealden District Councillors.

If technology permits, I am hoping to secure virtual presence of previous Home Office Ministers to give technical advice and share information obtained from other councils who went through the process.
