Nus Ghani Opens Affordable Housing at Leap Close Hailsham

Last week, Nus Ghani and Cllr Pam Doodes opened Leap Close, the site of twelve new affordable homes in Hailsham.

All twelve homes have been allocated to local families via the Council’s choice based lettings system and are initially to be let on one year introductory tenancies.

Nus Ghani Elected to the Foreign Affairs Committee

Yesterday evening, Nus Ghani was elected as one of five Conservative MPs onto the highly competitive eleven-member Foreign Affairs Select Committee, chaired by neighbouring Tonbridge and Malling MP Tom Tugendhat. Nus was one of a dozen MPs to put her name forward for the Committee.

Nus Quizzes Locals for Charity Fundraiser

Last week, Nus asked questions at a charity quiz night in Jarvis Brook in aid of ‘Sussex Nightstop’. She donated a prize to be awarded to the winning team, comprising: a visit to Parliament, tea with Nus and a tour of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
