Update on Crowborough Training Camp

Outcomes following Nusrat Ghani MP's meeting with Defence Minister, Luke Pollard on Monday 1st December.

Nusrat Ghani said: "Together with locals Jeannette Towey, Crowborough Shield & Cllr Michael Lunn - Wealden District, I pressed the Minister about the provisions for our Crowborough Cadets. Previously, the Home Office suggested that the Cadets could continue operating from the site after it would accommodate 600 male asylum seekers. On Monday, it was confirmed that:

 👉🏽 The Crowborough Cadets will not be operating from the site, starting 5th December.

 👉🏽 A new site will be secured for them. 

 👉🏽 As a result our my pressure, the MoD have now written to Cadets’ leadership, volunteers and parents.
