Wealden MP Nus Ghani hosted members of the Fletching Royal British Legion branch for a tour of Parliament and a catch up on the Royal British Legion’s activities in Fletching and the rest of Wealden.
In October, Nus joined the Royal British Legion for the Great War Walk, walking from four of Wealden’s war memorials, with the walk raising more than £600 in total, and she has previously taken part in their annual poppy collection drive each year to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden, said: “It was a pleasure to host Tony and Mike from the Fletching Royal British Legion in Parliament.
“As the MP for Wealden I am committed to supporting our veterans across East Sussex and regularly work with the Royal British Legion and their branches to make sure their voices are heard in Westminster.
“I enjoyed showing them round my place of work – it’s a fantastic building to visit and if you’re ever interested in a visit do get in touch with me, I’d be delighted to welcome you.”
