Nusrat Ghani, MP for Sussex Weald, was pleased to welcome students from Heathfield Community College to Westminster, for a tour of the Houses of Parliament and a Q&A session on legislative processes as well as Nusrat's everyday duties as a Member of Parliament and Chairman of Ways and Means, Madam Deputy Speaker.

Nusrat Ghani said: "Getting our young residents interested in the workings of our democracy is a vital part of my work as an MP and it was a pleasure to welcome Heathfield Community College students to Parliament and take questions from the floor on the work I do in Sussex Weald and my role and responsibilities as Chairman of Ways and Means and Madam Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons. I’m always keen to ensure that our democracy and Parliament is as open as possible, which is why I have welcomed hundreds of Sussex Weald constituents, local teachers and students, charity volunteers and businesses to Westminster over the past ten years."
