I would like to invite you an upcoming Farmers' Forum, hosted jointly with the National Farmers’ Union (NFU), which will take place on Friday 16th May 2025, at a location in Five Ashes near Mayfield, East Sussex.
This Forum will provide farmers, agricultural businesses and individuals in Sussex Weald with a space to discuss any concerns with not only representatives from the NFU and myself as your Member of Parliament, but also representatives from local authorities and other local organisations.
Amongst other organisations, I have reached out to Sussex Police, Wealden District Councils, East Sussex County Council, the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Food Standards Agency (FSA), and the Environment Agency (EA), to kindly request that they join us on the day.
