South East Water's failures are yet again blighting our communities.
Over the past year, we have seen villages and towns without water for days on end, especially in Frant, Eridge, Hellingly, Lower Horsebridge and Crowborough. And we have seen many more periodically over the past few years.
Throughout each incident, I have been in continuous communication with SEW CEO and attended daily Strategic Response Group meetings chaired by DEFRA Minister. Throughout each incident, I make it very clear to the management team at SEW that they are failing customers in Sussex Weald again and again. It is time they took responsibility and invested into their infrastructure to ensure the quality of service that its customers deserve.
While I am thankful for residents who have been in contact with me up to this point, I want to gather as much information as possible so that I can provide the clearest picture possible as to how our community is impacted by each incident.
As I may not always be aware at the time of other locations where issues took place, or of the extent of issues, I set up the below form where you can let me know whether you were impacted; whether SEW did their job and communicated with you; and whether you think you are owed compensation.
Thank you for letting me know your views via the form below.
