As the House of Commons undertakes 40 hours of debates on the Withdrawal Agreement, I will continue to listen to arguments on all sides, which range from the Prime Minister's Withdrawal Agreement, leaving without a deal and a second referendum.
However, I believe that the Prime Minister's Withdrawal Agreement is a good compromise that provides certainty for our businesses and gets us out of the European Union in March 2019, as voted for by the British people.
At the referendum, I voted for Brexit and Wealden voted for Brexit by 54%. We now need to get on with delivering Brexit and as a pragmatist and a democrat I can accept it may not be a perfect Brexit but it is a good deal. All of the other alternatives are uncertain which the country does not need.
